installed solus on my laptop (uefi).

it is already running debian and windows 10

it seems to have copied files to the EFI directory

root@solus ~ # mkdir /mnt/disk
root@solus ~ # mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/disk/
root@solus ~ # ls /mnt/disk/EFI/
Boot/              com.solus-project/ Microsoft/         systemd/
root@solus ~ # ls /mnt/disk/EFI/ Boot com.solus-project Microsoft systemd root@solus ~ # ls /mnt/disk/EFI/com.solus-project/ initrd-com.solus-project.current.4.20.16-112 kernel-com.solus-project.current.4.20.16-112

when i go to bios, i do not see solus

solus installed to /dev/sda1

    DataDrake

    why would the installer not have it loaded/installed?

    the question i ask, if there was no windows or debian, would solus load?

    Had the same issue efibootmgr did not work for me to add solus to UEFI but easyUEFI for windows did work to add it. The bootloader for solus is in /EFI/systemd/SOMETHING sorry I don't have my PC right now to tell you the exact filename 😅 but I'm sure it's not the one in com.solus... or in boot

    @milomak

      For future ref try installing refind for bootloading management. It always finds any efi bootloader even if the pc doesn't them like it did with solus.

      From what I read on other posts and what I experienced myself the installer has some issues when it has to deal with dual/multi boot.
