Chromium Branding

I watched the ungoogled-chromium icon turn from blue to red...in real time. I hate that spooky s***.

Not a real big deal....I had just done a Flatpak update of UG. Do you think the Eloston people (maintainers) made a mistake, or did chrome branding just change?

Not an earth-shattering question, and certainly unimportant. just wanted to know if anyone read anything.

Apparently this was changed recently (in the ungoogled-chromium project) due to trademark concerns.

Also very interesting: from 2 days ago:

"a bunch"? If freetube icon goes with freetube app, etc., and everything is legal....except the odd knockoff fork like ungoogled maybe..makes sense. they had a chrome icon and probably never should have...
