While I was sleeping...https://fedoraproject.org/atomic-desktops/budgie/

Josh/BoB have prepared a Budgie for Fedora's Immutable (now called "Atomic"--does no one like the "I" word anymore) versions joining silverblue and kionite.

Quite a preview of what Solus Budgie may become (minus the Moss asfaik).
Am downloading it now. For some way unknown reason the iso is called "OnyxOSTree."

Blurb snippets:
"each version is updated for approximately 13 months, and each update takes effect on your next reboot, keeping your system consistent [this is normal Fedora from version to version I believe]

"A previous version of your system is always kept around, just in case.

"Atomic: The whole system is updated in one go, and an update will not apply if anything goes wrong, meaning you will always have a working computer.

"Containerized: Graphical applications are installed via Flatpak, and keep themselves separate from the base system."

No mention of Wayland anyway in the product blurb.

Overall: far out.

brent For some way unknown reason the iso is called "OnyxOSTree."

The original name for the immutable Budgie spin was to be Onyx, before the Fedora people decided to drop the names and just go with Fedora Atomic <spin>. I guess the ISO name never changed, heh.
