No more dark theme since last update. It's activate in Budgie desktop parameters but only this window switch dark/light (before posting, I note that Firefox and Thunderbird switch too) ; Nemo, most applications -except Modzilla, FileZilla- , Budgie control center : all is so white...
Someone have this problem ? And solved it ?
(I try booting on 6.6.26 and "old" 6.6.22 kernel)

Do you use custom theme(s)?

@SethStorm666 is right: you likely have a theme you brought into this.
What you need for Budgie when this happens is gnome-control-center
or gnome-settings
(I forget; I'm at work) from the repo. It has a 'master' force-every-single-thing-to-dark-theme button. I don't know if this is Solus-endorsed or even 'best practices' or even real solution---
---but it's always worked for me when that horrible 2-tone window, or one-is-dark-and-one-suddenly-is-light sh** afflicts the desktop.
*another solution is just to be happy with the base themes in the repo. I still alternate Qogir, materia. zukitre, Arc-D etc etc. edit/typos galore I need to trim my fingernails

The "Dark theme" switch in Budgie Desktop Settings does the same thing now.
EbonJaeger good to know, thank you

It my first post here after few weeks using Soluc, and first, thank to everyone taking time to answer.
I realize that I don't precise that I'm using Soluc 4.5 with Budgie environment.
To answer to :
- SethStorm666 : I don't used custom themes (I think ? I perhaps chose one of purpose on the distrib).
- Brend : I'm not using Gnome environment.
- EbonJaeger : yes ! and that is this button that I switched and is still in position Dark, but have now -since my update- no effect.

Actually I'm still using Pocillo theme ; I think that it was the one I used before update, whit the button dark theme active.
Follow-up your answer, I see that Pocillo had a light theme and a dark theme ; so, simply using Pocillo-dark solve my problem. I don't know why the theme change and was confused by the button dark-theme.
Thank you.
Two other questions : may I and how I signal that the problem I post is resolved ; and how can I try and other desktop environment (before Soluc I discovered Linux on Ubuntu Gnome... test Ubuntu Budgie... and now I'm here ) without installing a new distrib if it is possible ?
To indicate that your problem is solved, select your previous comment (Post 7) and click the "Select Best Answer" button just below.
About your second question, simply download the ISO image of the Linux distribution you want to test. Then, after inserting a USB key on your computer, select the software ETCHER to install it and then, you can boot on it.
penny-farthing
Thanks for your answer. But I would like to work few day to really test and switch, so I think about a tool like LightDM or an other that work fine on Soluc. Have you some recommendations ?
Franck about what the theme and what the dark button manage.
Someone can explain me the incident on the part of the system of each one ?
there's a master "force dark" button if you bring in themes from the outside that are not necessarily Budgie-compatible. By "Budgie-Compatible" I mean themes that seem immune/resistant to your DE's overall dark theme.
It happens but not a lot.
In your case you simply unknowingly selected a light theme.
If I understood what you wrote in your post 7, you told that you wish to try other desktop environment without installing a new distrib.
So, booting on a USB key on which an ISO image of a Linux distribution has been flashed by Etcher allows you to test it without modifying your computer's current configuration.
I don't know of any other solution, but perhaps someone else can help you if another way exists.
