Updated and all my applications are no longer being detected by Plasma. The application menu is blank and trying to open any file doesn't work (because it can't find an application to open it with). The programs weren't removed or corrupted, they launch from Konsole (which I used the hotkey for) just fine. Not sure what exactly broke, but all my files seem intact. Will update if I'm able to solve this myself.
If you notice your applications are missing, run usysconf run -f as root and reboot to fix it. Thanks to @brent for the suggestion.

Thanks for your feedback.
You are absolutely right, this locking mechanism must be sustainable for any system update.
It was just a suggestion, given the importance of this update, while waiting for the Solus developers to find a solution for the future.

Its fine, just a warning that there is a file conflict. But as it notes it resolves itself once all updates are applied

python-object gets replaced by python2-gobject

Simply the package that owns those files being changed.

Ideapad 3 all AMD. Installed updates. Restart. No errors other than the python and icon warnings. Screen just flashed repeatedly and did nothing. After several minutes of this I hard powered off. Turned back on, booted up to MASSIVE full screen keyboard that completely blocked out the login screen. Just minimized it and logged in without issue. Ran an eopkg check, everything green. Restarted again. Still getting the massive on screen keyboard. Changed the login theme from breeze noir dark to just breeze and that fixed it.

Will update the gaming rig later in the week. I plan on gaming all day tomorrow, not going to risk that to update now lol.

If you are using something other than the default theme for Plasma or sddm it will need to have been updated to support Plasma 6/Qt6 otherwise you can have major breakages. The same is true for third party plasmoids/extensions/widgets

I installed Polonium for window tiling on Plasma 6, when I updated EndeavourOS on my laptop to Plasma 6 a little while back. It is compatible with Wayland. IMHO it isn't as polished as Bismuth was, nor does it have all the features that Bismuth did. If anyone knows of another window tiling plug-in/program for Plasma 6, I'd certainly be willing to try it, and see how well it works.

With Plasma 5, I was using the Mudeer plugin to do tiling on my ultrawide monitors. They are working on Plasma6 compatibility, but it isn't ready yet.

I got an issue with secure boot.
For some reason it can't boot wit secure boot enabled. It was enabled before the update and had no issues, It's like the shim is not valid or cant be found, something like that nature.
I ran sudo usysconf run -f but no change, with sudo clr-boot-manager update is the same result.
Some idea about it?

I am sure we can trust contributors to the KDE Store to not rely on bad scripting practices like rm -rf ${var}/* where $var is not set. Oh wait...

Went fine, with some small exceptions. Autologin didn't work anymore after the update, probably due to me having it set to Wayland session. I also had to set screen configuration again (scaling, primary screen). That's about it. Thanks devs!
