Jack, Guitarix, Jamulus headaches

I have been trying to use Guitarix, but it fails to start no matter what configuration I use with Qjackctl. It gives the "error creating realtime thread" error. Has anyone else had success with guitarix? It's kind of strange that it is in the official repository, but if I understand things correctly it won't work without Jack real time support.

I also wanted to try Jamulus, so I installed from flatpak, but since it depends on Jack I also ran into issues. I can't input any sound no matter what configs/patches/graphs I do in qjackctl. It's strange because qjackctl starts and does not report any errors, and I can hear myself when I connect my inputs and outputs in the grapher, but nothing shows up in Jamulus.

Has anyone else had any luck with Jack or Jamulus/guitarix?

Did you already installed pipewire-jack package ?

You need to set realtime scheduling. Try following this article https://jackaudio.org/faq/linux_rt_config.html. It works for me.

alfisya Guitarix is working! Unfortunately still no sound in Jamulus. Ahh nvm. Fell dumb. Jamulus doesn't show your audio until you connect to a server. It's working. Thanks so much.
