New to Linux and Solus, with several questions

Question 1: how can/do I retrieve files from a drive that is still setup for Windows 10?
To elaborate while setting up Linux on this PC the Windows 10 boot drive stopped working correctly and I don't know how to get the files I still had on that drive.

Question 2: how do I change/reconfigure the settings for my mouse, a Razer Naga trinity, I am looking to change the scroll speed, the middle mouse click function, and the extra side of the mouse keys function.

Question 3: how to play games that are listed as "Available for Windows" on Steam?
as some one who was using Windows 10 for years I have picked up quite the library of Steam games and many of them are not set up for Linux.

Thanks for anyone who took the time to read and/or reply to my questions. learning new things is almost as hard as forgetting old things, so thanks for you patience.

Need more info : What Solus edition are you using? It is usually just boils down to open your file manager, open your windows hardrive, and there you access all your files. We have openrazer in the Software Center. This is a compilation of driver for razer device on linux. To actually adjust all those settings we have RazerGenie in Software Center. Granted, it might not work for your device but worth a try. Here is a list I found of supported razer device https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Razer_peripherals .

Additional Note :
If it is the first time you use linux, I think it is more prudent to just run it in VirtualBox on your Windows PC first. Just so you can get your feet wet. Find all the apps you need. Maybe try those apps on your Windows PC first (If it is available on both OS) as not all Windows apps are available on Linux. The biggest ones are Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products. Diving headfirst sometimes is not the best method.

Question 1 depends on the desktop. But usually the partitions are listed on the left side in the file browser. Just click on it and you should be able to browse through the files. Sorry that I cannot be more specific on this.

I'm also not sure wether flathub is already enabled by default in Solus, in case it's not, this guide will work:

Question 3 Enable those two options in the steam settings.

Not all games might work, and some might require tweaks. I usually go to protondb if a game doesn't work to see wether other people got it to work somehow. https://www.protondb.com/

To give more info about my first question, I am running the Plasma edition of Solus (4.5)
my main problem is the fact that I can't open my windows Drive (I am using SSDs rather then HDs) when I try to enter the Drive though the file manager it gives me an error message reading

"An error occurred while accessing 'Basic data partition', the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error mounting /dev/nvme1n1p3 at /run/media/noah/BCEC4F53EC4F06DC: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/nvme1n1p3, missing codepage or helper program, or other error"

That's usually because Windows 10 / 11 goes into hybrid sleep instead of shutting down, leaving the filesystem into a locked state. To fully shutdown Windows, you can run shutdown -s -t 00 on the command prompt.
