I like what AerynOS is building, but I love what Solus is. While sure, they should leverage each other where it makes sense, I see them as really two different and distinct distros. You see this with a lot of distros that are in a family of sorts. This is a bit different because it will have a different packaging base, at the very least for the time being.
It will take a few years before AerynOS is in a place to have the entire distro, packages, and ancillary systems in place to be what I would consider a true stable infrastructure. Obviously, it will not take that long to be perfectly usable for everyone, but to be in a more mature place.
