Budgie: ALL sound goes now PARALLEL to loudspeakers and LineOut

dear all,
Budgie standard installation. what did i do:

i had the laptop in the docking station during installation.
all sound got through the LineOut of the docking station. OK!
shutdown.
i took the laptop off the docking station.
all sound got through the laptop-loudspeakers. OK!
shutdown.
i set the laptop into the docking station again.
now ALL sound is going PARALLEL to the loudspeakers and to the LineOut.

How can i switch off the loudspeakers and set the sounds to its origin LineOut-ONLY?

i tried all morning to change the settings in Budgie->Audio and Raven, but they only show a singular "Line-Out Internal Audio" with nothing more to choose.

maybe there is a magic setting somewhere that i might have missed?
is this a special PipeWire-setting somewhere?

Hello,

Have you tried with alsamixer in the terminal - when done changing the settings do a alsactl store so the changes are saved.

i tried with alsamixer and i also tried with pavucontrol.
but they both do handle my speakers and the LineOut as one singular unit.

i can not believe that it is impossible to switch off the loudspeakers and get back to the original LineOut-only.

You need to press <F3> to select the audio card in alsamixer. Also note the small arrows in the right side of alsamixer, which means you can scroll further right.

dear Seth,
thank you for pointing me to the ALSAMIXER once more!
First: choosing the soundcard with F6.
Second: select F5 to view all channels.
there i had to go to the AUTOMUTE section.
it was empty.
with the "arrow-up"-button i set it to "SPEAKER".
"Escape"-button to exit.

this succeeded to the LineOut-only and my internal louspeakers are switched off.
