Radeon software doesn't recognize my card

I installed Radeon software to see my Card details and work on the profile. But it doesn't recognize my card.

My card is Rx 550 4GB version. Certain cards are supposed to work in this software or all AMD cards should be identified?

I can say my RX580 is recognized and has been for years.

Maybe check the github for the project to see if there are issues with ur card?

Did you try restart after installing radeon-profile ?
You can run it with sudo radeon-profile or better enable systemd service for radeon-profile-daemon :

sudo systemctl enable radeon-profile-daemon.service
sudo systemctl  start radeon-profile-daemon.service

after that you can run radeon-profile without sudo. Just click it from desktop. Cheers!
