i have an rx6600xt, and i tried installing through the native automatic1111 tutorial, but it gives me the skip-torch-cuda-test error.
now that solus has rocm packaged, how do i go about installing stable diffusion?
Jason5 I believe I did, unless I also have to install rocm from the software center.
This is not my speciality but cuda = nvidia proprietary GPU compute. So its not going to work.
In blender
there are settings for nvidia cuda and HIP? for AMD. Someone more knowledgable will have to chime in.
Harvey stable diffusion has workarounds for amd gpus, but it's a really complicated setup. i had it working on linux mint before, but i forgot which steps i've taken, and i doubt i'd be able to reproduce on solus
Jason5 I use an Rx 6600xt, and I'm quite certain it works on it since I did use it before on Linux mint with no problem.
I also have a 6600XT and Rocm works fine.
MikeK61 I'm pretty sure it works well for me too, but not on stable diffusion. Each time I try to render something it gets stuck and eventually quite after a while.
