Telegram starts slow and freezes while downloading files

Hi everybody!
Since a couple of updates I have noticed that the Telegram App freezes when I start it. It means, I click on the app and the computer freezes for about 10-20 seconds and then after that the app opens and works normally.

Also every time I download a file, it opens a dialog window so that I can choose where I want the file to be downloaded, I click on "Save" and the view freezes for a while (the file is being downloaded) and after a while it closes and I can see the progress of the file being downloaded.

I am using Solus Budgie with all packages updated. Do you have any idea why is this happening?

Are you using the repo version of Telegram, or the flatpak/standalone versions? Also, are you using disk encryption?

Could you open a bug report for this on our issue tracker and I'll take a look at it? Especially if you have good reproduction steps
