As you have probably noticed, not too many distros still support 32-bit CPUs. One distro that you might try is Sparky Linux. It's based on Debian and they have an ISO with the light weight Openbox window manager, that if not quite snappy, is totally usable on old hardware. They offer other Desktop Environments, but Openbox is super light weight.
Go to their "stable downloads" section and look for the Minimal GUI i686 ISO.

When last I looked, MX Linux still had a 32-bit ISO, also. Their Fluxbox version is also super light weight.
