Help needed for installing Github project (Fooocus)

I appreciate some detailed guidance, let me extract the relevant parts as shown below :
Foocus

Linux (Using Python Venv)

Your Linux needs to have Python 3.10 installed, and lets say your Python can be called with command python3 with your venv system working, you can

> cd Fooocus
> python3 -m venv fooocus_env
> source fooocus_env/bin/activate
> pip install -r requirements_versions.txt

my questions :

How do I install this "Venv"? I found a few similar projects on Github, which one do I use? Is it available on our official repo?
I understand Solus itself needs Python 2.x to work properly, and I don't want to risk breaking anything.
How do I use venv properly and safely so that I dont risk breaking my Solus Budgie?

You don't. Venv isn't a program its a Virtual Environment. You use the command exactly as they told you to.

Don't use pip/pip3 outside of a venv.

When you
source fooocus_env/bin/activate
You are activating that venv and it will take priority for that session. You can deactivate the venv when you no longer wish to use it, rebooting should do the same thing.

Ultimately if you are uncertain of what you are doing. Have a backup of your important files and consider using a virtual machine for testing purposes instead.

snowee, if I understand it correctly, pipx from the Solus repo makes things very easy, it automatically manages virtual environments, and allows you to avoid using pip in a way that might mess up the system. Otherwise, you can use pipx in the same way you would pip. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will jump in if I've not got the right idea here.

Here is an example with one program installed via pipx:

pipx list
venvs are in /home/john/.local/pipx/venvs
apps are exposed on your $PATH at /home/john/.local/bin
package pypisearch 1.3.5, installed using Python 3.10.11

So going back to my initial example as shown in first post, I first install pipx, then execute the following lines of code :

git clone https://github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus.git
cd Fooocus
python3 -m venv fooocus_env
source fooocus_env/bin/activate
pipx install -r requirements_versions.txt

is this correct?
