Axios Just a note when it happens and I start brave again it wants to restore tabs (so I know it had issues)
I looked at trying to run brave in debug mode or something but sheesh.
unless you set it in settings to restore open pages? I usually do.
Axios Well I will be using brave and everything will pause or I will close brave then shut
computer off or sometimes if I just have brave open and doing other things.
But when it pauses disk goes to read only or when I boot up again it brings up the rescue thing no gui.
So I pop in live usb and run disks and repair file system its always the data drive not efi or swap.
And I am good to go till next episode.
wow, that is a time drain. I'm sorry to read that is a hassle to live with. what a savage loop. I don't know what that could be especially that read only business. makes sense it is data drive only and not efi or swap..
...still sounds like hardware to me I don't know why.
when I had these freezes I'd see the processes spawn out to about 75 scary entries or more. And that's if I could get system monitor to open because system resources are drained.
your only other experiment is using the flatpak version to see if you can emulate. I think it would do the same thing, but if it completely cures it I don't know what that means.
Axios I thought it was something else until I realized I almost always have brave open so
likely correlation I would think. unless you had anything set to autostart? I autostart keepassxc and it runs the entire session.
man alive I don't know what else this could be. "I only get the weird ones."
