Bl0ndeAmbiti0n Has anyone been successful (or even tried) in getting LACP / bonding to work with NMCLI? I have done this on RHEL/CENTOS distros a lot for work, but never tried it on Solus.
Bl0ndeAmbiti0n Thanks for the input - I will try it here soon on the homelab and report back. I don't see any ifcfg files, but am willing to try it here at my homelab. Solus is my daily driver on my home PC Gaming rig.
ReillyBrogan Bl0ndeAmbiti0n that's because Solus uses NetworkManager to manage network connections and so your best bet is to go through it. Red Hat seems to have a decent guide on this that looks like it should work on Solus (note that we don't have the red hat webui. I figured you'd have guessed that already but just making sure) : https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/8/html/configuring_and_managing_networking/configuring-network-bonding_configuring-and-managing-networking
Bl0ndeAmbiti0n ReillyBrogan Can confirm - it does work. Solus also has a gui connection editor tool that can do this. Some mode options are easier set through cmd.
