BetterScale was not as good as I had hoped. For example it makes Vivaldi browser very laggy. Thus tried to uninstall betterScale as instructed on the github page: For now the closest thing to removal is to simply re-run the setup and select option 10. That will set your native resolution and undo the experimental GDK scaling and xrandr scaling.
Now Scaling in 'Budgies Control Center' no longer works. Only the mouse cursor size is affected. Resolution is always 100% even if I choose 200%. I tried creating a new user but Budgie scaling doesn't work there either anymore. Any ideas how to truly uninstall betterScale?
