Folder Encryption

i recently switched to solusOS budgie 4.4 and i wanted to ask whether there any folder encryption or file encryption software for solusOS and + how to install them

try veracrypt . it is in the software center .

We also have encfs in the repo. That's what I am using for folder encryption. Though there seems to be a controversy about it's safety.

Veracrypt is the defacto cross platform free encryption nowdays
Its kept updated and works very well uses containers instead of encrypting folders
make a container and just copy what you need to it.
Been using encryption since the truecrypt days you cant go wrong with veracrypt.
