lf-araujo Yes, it is expected that pipewire won't show if you do systemctl status pipewire.service
. systemctl
queries for system services by default, but Pipewire runs as a user service (which means it runs as your user). To properly query user services you must always use --user
AND not use sudo
(or you'd get results for user services running under the root account which is not useful).
We did do some updates and cleanups to pipewire and wireplumber this sync, if things aren't working you should make sure pipewire, pipewire-pulse, and wireplumber are all running:
systemctl --user status pipewire.service
systemctl --user status pipewire-pulse.service
systemctl --user status wireplumber.service
