Here I cannot repair gparted installation. The error reports stay the same because of
libparted and because of gpt-partition-table. Not sure if libparted is malformed somehow ?!

sudo eopkg it --reinstall libparted gparted

... stays with same result. Malformed gpt was already happening in Linux-Community
two years ago or before corona-time.

DirtyAngelsudo eopkg it --reinstall libparted gparted

This command works just fine for me. Did you try sudo eopkg delete-cache then run that command again?

Staudey Yes - I unplugged the malicious fake-hard-disk. It seems that gpt-partition-table hard-coded on hard-disk has overwritten gpt-settings of gparted.

This was case too in some "cheap" usb-sticks before corona-time. Partition-table behaved then strange.

It seems that the odd partition-table of these devices is hard-coded.

    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sd<partition>

    ... does not help.

    Device is simply then junk.

DirtyAngel Device is simply then junk.

Life is too short to deal with stuff like that. Not as cheap as disks and SSDs are today.
