KDE's file picker not working on Firefox anymore

I had set some time ago the widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal.file-picker and [...].mime-handler flags to 1 on Firefox to be able to use KDE's file picker but noticed that it doesn't seem to work anymore. I get this error when trying to open or save a file:

Gtk-WARNING **: 10:41:03.554: Can't open portal file chooser: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Nenhuma interface “org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser” no objeto no caminho /org/freedesktop/portal/desktop

Changing those flags to 0 uses GTK's file picker as expected.

System info:
Firefox: 118.0.2 with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1
Plasma: 5.27.8
xdg-desktop-portal: 1.18.0-24-1
xdg-desktop-portal-kde: 5.27.8-77-1

This shouldn't be required anymore, we switched to launching Firefox in Wayland by default. (ref)

This also shouldn't be required anymore as we added this as a distro default setting. I'd recommend going into Firefox about:config and resetting all of these preferences back to their default values (clicking reset or delete) so that the "default" preferences are used.

Since I use Plasma Wayland and the XDG file picker works for me my assumption is that this is a result of your local configuration somehow not working any more with our changes/updates. See if it's still not working with a different Firefox profile and if it is still broken then see if creating a new Linux user works.
