Card reader doesn`t work

I bought a card reader (Cyerjack) for ID check for german online services.
Do i need a driver for that ?
The manua says i don`t need a special driver under Linux and the device is supported for Linux as well.

The power LED is just popping up shortly and goes off again.
When i use pcsc_scan it says service not available.
What can i do ?

To begin with, check that the device is visible. E.g.: lsusb and dmesg | grep -i usb

I had to start the pcsc.service manually.
A manual for the device would be very helpful.
