Hi there!

Using SOLUS Budgie, latest current kernel version (including yesterday's update of the GNOME stack and all) on a Thinkpad W530.
Whenever I click to open the calendar (click on the time in the system panel, click on calendar) the login window for my mobile broadband modem pops up and wants me to enter the details to start a mobile connection.
(That has been happening from the start of me using SOLUS, not just after the latest update.)
My default setting is mobile broadband DEACTIVATED.

Why on earth does the login window pop up when I start the calendar app??
Really strange...

I mean, I can click it away and it doesn't actually bother me that much but I have the feeling there's some kind of a weird connection made.

My modem is a Ericsson Business Mobile Networks BV H5321 gw.

Any ideas?

I had trouble with the calendar associations after the update so for me it opened gEdit instead of the calendar- i added the line; text/calendar=org.gnome.Calendar.desktop; to /home/username/.config/mimeapps.list and that solved it for me!

ps. dont forget to reboot/relogin

Hey berk!
Thanks for your reply - I tried your solution on my machine but it didn't change anything, the mobile broadband login window pops up just the same.
It does that no matter if I allowed the modem (called "cdc-wdm2" in files by the way) to be activated from the start or not.
Ah, well, there are bigger problems than that...
