shingamba After the last update my touchpad started acting weird. Tap to click is not working. And most importantly the touchpad and mice settings shows this:
ReillyBrogan In the last update we switched x11 sessions to use libinput over the much older and unmaintained synaptics driver. Do you happen to have xinput installed by any chance?
ReillyBrogan Perhaps @EbonJaeger can chime in if Budgie is supposed to show configuration for the libinput driver as well.
EbonJaeger ReillyBrogan BCC does support libinput via gnome-settings-daemon. I'm wondering if BCC needs to be rebuilt because of the output from @Staudey's post: (budgie-control-center:2349): mouse-cc-panel-WARNING **: 12:44:39.290: Detected synaptics X driver, please migrate to libinput
Staudey Sounds like the same issue as this person is experiencing; with some interesting bits of information here:
shingamba ReillyBrogan I removed xorg-driver-input-synaptics and now it works fine. I guessed synaptics was creating problems as you mentioned x11 sessions being switched to use libinput. thanks for your time.
