Earlier today Ikey did a talk on Serpent OS at DConf (D Language Conference).

Advanced users will find this interesting since it showcases the Serpent tooling and infrastructure, which is proposed to become the default in Solus V. During which Ikey also talks about the current state of the Serpent code base and the improvements that will need to be made.

I know practically nothing about what I just watched but it was neat to see and learn about the efficiency goals of Serpent and Solus.

Thank you for posting this! I'd watched the first few hours of this conference yesterday, and left underwhelmed. I hadn't planned to watch any more of it, but when I found out it was an opportunity focused on Ikey, Serpent, and Solus, my interest was rekindled.

I encourage everyone with the slightest interest in the software behind Solus to take the time to watch this presentation. You'll be glad you did. Ikey is one of the most interesting speakers I've ever been exposed to.
