Crow Translate problems

On a mission to replace as much flatpak stuff as I can with repo stuff. I am tripped up right out of the gate.
Want to replace flat Dialect with repo Crow-Translate.

The other three search engines are Google, Bing, and Yandex and I won't use them.
So that makes the 2 free (non-Google) search engines, Libre and Lingva, inoperable.
How do I make the two free scraper engines worK?

No luck with this one. I get the feeling that the TTS support is something I need to install?

or should I create a github acct and take it to devtracker?

algent this problem common for many users--with no remedies I could see. only google works. not even bing, yandex, and the two scrapers. Especially the two scrapers (lingva and libre). Dev claims qt problems, hibernate problems (I have a desktop), stop and restart dbus, stop and restart network manager, and lastly, the way the distro is configured. My UFW is default set: allow outgoing/deny incoming and that never stopped a translator from working. Not worth the troubleshooting.
It doesn't work in Endeavour either. Same errors.
I rm'd this crappy application. Back to Dialect in Flatpak.

SOLVED.

ps--I did have the settings at default with the only manual change as ENG set as primary translate language. (it was blank). And I tried it back in blank.
