hi.
this is an problem since the last update yesterday. This is also an problem in Opera which I have installed to test the keyboard function. This happens on two other machines. On my last solus machine instead, without the latest updates, chromium is ok.
I compare the snap connections but there are no differences. If I start the snap chromium from Terminal there is an message on every keystroke :

(chrome:5420): IBUS-WARNING **: 10:06:19.111: Events queue growing too big, will start to drop.

I search the internet but dindn't find relative answers.

Did anyone have an idea?

edit:
the snap libreoffice has the same issue, no keyboard.

all my Solus installations have snap version 2.57.5 and chromium 115.0.5790.102

They difference between them is IBus:

at the working solus is version IBus Version 1.5.27, the updated solus with nonfunctional keyboard has IBus Version 1.5.28

could this be the reason?

tresjam Possibly. The ibus update was reverted (for another issue), so best to update and try again

one day later there is an uodate. But it doesn't help.

but there are no changes. Keyboard still doesn't work in chromium and libreoffice 7.5

I installed "foobillard-plus" and "bucklespring". On these two the keyboard is ok...
