Does DaVinci Resolve work on Solus?

vinceff How did you managed to make it work?
The installation was really easy, but my issue it's that I don't get any video playback when import anything. I tried different formats and non of them show anything, it's just pure black. It seems like it only recognize the audio when I put it in the timeline, but even the audio it's not getting playback.

I have Nvidia drivers up to date and ocd-icd installed.

atriaze Hello, so what format does it reads? Because mp4 it's the only one that even let me insert in the project, even thou it doen't work. I try MKV and AVI and doesn't even show up in the project if I drag it or import it.

Great, understanding "codec" and "container" is important. You will find quite a few things on the net. You will learn more about ProRes and DNxHD and h.264.

atriaze Yes, I know. I just didn't know that Davinci Resolve on Linux only accept ProRes.
