Maybe this discussion is a bit redundant to my recent questions about distroboxes and podman, but it's more specific.
Well I don't found /etc/subuid or /etc/subgid and
usermod --add-subuids 100000-165535 --add-subgids 100000-165535 pippo
don't work.
How does all this work in Solus?

EbonJaeger Yes (distrobox) although I'm still in doubt whether creating the files by hand is the correct way to go (for this too: Reillybrogan) . I have seen that in other distributions these files are already present and therefore I was wondering if there was a different underlying organizational philosophy about shadow.
