I installed Solus 4.4 yesterday and everything is working fine except for one thing.
I have installed two flatpak apps, if i start them up so i can see the icon on the panel and then right click the icon i don't get the possibility to favorite them, the only thing that is there is the "close all windows" button.
Is there anyone who have a solution to fix this so i can pin those apps to the panel like i can do with other non flatpak apps?
How to pin Flatpak apps to the panel?
tflovik
As far as I know that happens with SOME flatpak apps, not ALL of them.
Therefore I presume it's due to the apps themselves, not SOLUS.
But I may be wrong.
And, yes, it has always annoyed me, too!

agreed. some yes, some no. plank is more accomodating but not perfect either.
I've had success not trying to pin the open flatpak app, but instead dragging it's icon from the Menu to the taskbar.
I'm sure there are other answers.
If GLib cannot find the application info, then Budgie can't pin it. What applications did you install?
Dragging the icons from the menu to the taskbar worked So now they are pinned.
Appname: Converter NOW and Shortwave.
I use Plank so that I can pin my favourite Flatpak apps. :-)
