I should preface this by saying thank you to all Solus contributors for all their hardwork toward new ISO release. But (Here comes the party crasher 🚗 ) There is a few niggling problem i have specifically with GNOME edition. I should have report this earlier, but better late than never!
- Windows titlebar setting
User should be able to change the placment and button of titlebar button on GNOME edition of Solus. Right now (at least on Fedora and Manjaro) this can be achieved simply by toggling buttons on Tweaks, but on Solus this only affect flatpak applications. For application installed through eopkg or software-center, this setting only can be changed via dconf-editor in /org/gnome/settings-daemon/plugins/xsettings/overrides. Is there any reason why that is the case?
- Hide Screenrecord button
GNOME 43 (?) adds ability to record screen natively via their print screen menu, but it seems only work on Pipewire. By default Solus still uses pulseaudio, so whenever user try to screen record it will just crash.
For example in Manjaro screen record button is hidden by default because they still uses pulseaudio (like Solus). If user enable pipewire, the button will appear on printscreen menu.
