US midwest. High speed fiber. My local hops are super fast, 0 packet loss. Some hops through major data centers are returning as high as 65% packet loss (Chicago). Sometimes, depending on what I'm doing, I can use a VPN and re-route around things. But online gaming has been spotty at best, and streaming video content has been simply terrible. I can't see any single hop causing the issue, it's a wide range of hops in all different locations.
Been using mtr (awesome tool), of course speedtest.net and fast.com for just quickie tests.
Anyone else been having issues? Pretty sure it's not on my end and not my ISP.
Right now Google-level3-Chicago10.Level3.net has 66.6% packet loss.
