Hello again, could someone using kdeconnect tell me if kdeconnect can see your device?
I'm long time user of kdeconnect in budgie and it worked well all the time, but recently (could be a mater of the kde gears update in the repo) I can't see my paired device and cant reconnect since it doesn't see any device in my local network.
Just to be sure, I'm not using a vpn in my pc nor in my phone, and the port is open on the pc firewall, see ufw, but there's still no device shown in the app in any of the devices.

If you are using Solus KDE, can you verify if it's working properly?
If you are in any other desktop (I'm in Budgie) could you use kdeconnect-indicator and see if it can see your device?

ok I think I fixed it, added the rules for iptables and now they can see each other.
If any other problem related with this appears, i'll continue here.

nolan If you are using Solus KDE, can you verify if it's working properly?

Yes, working fine. After I re-installed Plasma on this laptop, though, I couldn't see my phone listed on the laptop until I went into settings on the phone and tried connecting from there. It's a lot like pairing Bluetooth devices. Both computer and phone need to be interested in connecting.
