Patrice Hi all, I want to learn how to package something in Solus. Is it possible (recommended) to do it in a VM (VirtualBox for me) ? I have seen the doc https://github.com/getsolus/help-center-docs. And plenty of help in the forum already. My goal is to find a way to do it without breaking my system. Thanks.
Brucehankins If you're concerned, then try it in a VM. There really aren't too many dependencies to setting up the build environment, so not high risk.
Patrice Thanks. I know what I am able to break on a linux system, so VM should be safer 🙂 I'll be back when problem occurs (yes, they will obviously !)
