What makes you respond like Homer Simpson? What has Captain Obvious lectured you on lately?

The first thing that comes to mind for me is a bag of corn chips I recently bought. On the bag was -- in BIG letters -- "Gluten Free." Fact is, there's no gluten in corn, so it's no surprise that corn chips are gluten free. D'uh!

what you are really lamenting here is the poor (and even insulting) state of corporate marketing these days...in my cupboard:
"all natural" box of barley. ingredients: barley
authentic country sausage gravy "artificially lightened"
and my favorite
the wife's pouch of tuna, in big red letters: "great source of protein"

A personal love mine are zero calorie energy drinks.
Seeing as energy gets measured in calories then surely zero calories = zero energy.
