libre office file recovery

Hi! Yesterday after i had worked on a document (in LibreOffice), I mistakenly deleted it forever while i was willing to send it on my phone. Does anyone have a way to recover the file. It's a hundred-page document and i don't really have the time nor the will to go through it and edit it again, from scratch. Please help me

Hi. I don't know how you lost your file. You might be able to find a part of it if a progammed saving was enable in LibreOffice. Otherwise, you could try testdisk that is in the repo. It has worked for me many times.

From what I read online if LibreOffice created any backups they should be in ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/backup
