I found Arch easy to navigate, maybe Intermediate.
Solus I found Intermediate when I came from Windows for a first distro.
Spent a month with MX, I thought that was Beginner-Friendly. Fedora is Easy but took me a long time to get there.
Ain't got much experience with the rest.

Based on this chart it's funny to me that Slackware was my introduction to linux, but I suppose there weren't as many distros to choose from in 1996.

Due to bandwidth limitations I picked up a copy at my local bookstore along with a thick, detailed installation and usage manual that was significantly larger than most of my textbooks.

Wyrdsmyth I was going to download Slackware tonight for the challenge but distrowatch slack vets roast this distro (comments) for going backwards in its evolving, thus worse; or stuck in 90s. When that many people say it's worse than it was in the 90's/same as it was in the 90s, then it's either truth or old-timer sentiment.
Then I was going to download Linux From Scratch for the challenge except their was no OS and no download. Its a pdf book. You build it in Solus to a partition on Solus. It's weird.
I need a Shackleton-type Linux polar adventure that much I know.
