Yes, it does read very complimentary. However, they call it the Irish Linux distribution. I'm not sure that has any bearing on it at the moment, is anyone Irish? However, bringing up that subject, I think it may be an advantage to have cosmopolitan developers, with regards to privacy/security issues with world governments.
It does point out that the installation program has no translations, just English (true? I mean I never tried, since I'm a limited linguist and native English speaker).

    dbarron Funny, I didn't even see the "irish distribution" part and to me it doesn't really matter much. Regarding the installer language: I only installed Solus 4 once and always stick to English in my Desktop OSes. As soon as something is German on my computer, all words are 3x as long and I don't have a clue wtf the machine is talking about ^^

    I believe that is because Ikey Doherty, who started the project, is Irish. Though I don't think it matters anymore 🙂

    That was my point...so yes. To call it an Irish distro is to call the US one of hte colonies (lol). A bit behind the times, but I liked his review anyway.
