Hi all,
I am currently dual booting Solus and Windows (sacrilege I know) and Im pretty sure updating Windows yesterday destroyed my bootloader. The error I get on boot is:
Error loading \EFI\com.solus-project\kernel-com.solus-project.current.6.1.24-230: Not Found
Failed to execute Solus 4.3 Fortitude (solus-current-6.1.24-230.conf) ( \EFI\com.solus-project\kernel-com.solus-project.current.6.1.24-230: Not Found)
The weird thing is that I have an older version of the kernel which I can still boot into (6.0.5 off the top of my head) and I used it to check /boot/ which is completely empty, which is confusing to me as I do manage to boot into the older version of the kernel. I don't however manage to boot into the DE, Im only able to use a virtual terminal by pressing ctrl + alt + f2 (would that explain why /boot/ is empty??).
Im pretty sure I was using systemd to boot rather than grub, but as /boot/ is completely empty I am not sure and therefore am hesitant to reinstall/update grub or the systemd bootloader as I dont want to nuke the whole install.
And of course this had to happen on the day I have a deadline so any help would be much appreciated 🙏
