  • Best way to create a Windows bootable ISO in Solus Linux

I reread his post again
He is trying to install image burn to vmware
after trying to make a iso of it on Linux and
vmware is complaining it’s not bootable
which makes sense so it appears vmware
issue

[deleted] ya I am not familiar with any virtual stuff and image burn isn’t bootable anyways
your guess good as mine all I got on the subject. Lol

Axios I'm not sure if they're trying to get a bootable Windows install media (which they should just download from https://www.microsoft.com/fi-fi/software-download/windows10) or if they're trying to make a bootable disc image from scratch. As they bring up VMWare I think they're just trying to create a Windows VM, but I'm not sure at all.

Would it be rude of us to ask the original poster for a clarification? There are a number of us now chasing our tails.

No, but since none of us know what OP is trying to do, I think that we should drop it until we know enough to help.
