WetGeek For what it is worth, I've never had any luck with WiFi AC dongles. I finally settled on using 2.4 GHz dongles.
Lucky for me, I've got Intel AC wifi cards in each of my working computers, so I don't have to worry about it anymore, unless I want to fire up the old Optiplex 7050, and since I use that only to build "portable M.2" externals, I don't need it much. The dongle is in a drawer, pulled out only when I want to fire up the 7050, which doesn't have an adapter.
The tiny CD in the package probably has Linux drivers and installation directions, but don't count on that doing any good, because chances are high that you'll have to install as a .deb or an .rpm, neither of which are eopkg.
If you can figure out what driver is needed for Linux, you might be able to find it in the forum.
