Axios When you get your Dell server, check the Service Tag on the Dell Support site and take a look at what you find. Dell has supported Linux for a number of years, and you might find that Dell has appropriate drivers for the computer you are getting.
Dell is closely allied with Ubuntu, so the Ubuntu Server distro might be the right choice for you. If you elect to try Ubuntu Server, use the 22.04 LTS download rather than the 22.10 download. 22.04 LTS will be supported through 2027, if I am not mistaken.
I've not set up a server since Unix days, so if someone comes along with a solid recommendation, follow it.
