kaktuspalme flanier That's exactly what I do as well though I use another S3 provider from my local area. But I use Backblaze B2 for a customer. I combined it with the wonderful kopia.io backup tool. You can even achieve ransomware protection using that by making your backup files readonly for a certain time. The Backblaze B2 API supports that readonly mechanism in their S3 API.
flanier kaktuspalme I hadn't heard of Kopia before you mentioned it, but after doing some reading it looks pretty useful. I could definitely see myself setting it up on a family member's computer who doesn't have a local NAS to make backups to a cloud service.
zmaint I like Pcloud. Lifetime membership saved my butt when I lost my job. Also has a solid appimage, runs on IOS and Android. I use it for all my video and rom streaming on my home media center.
