Problem shorts lost signal with screen Iiyama,

Hello,
My screen (iiyama 31.5" G-Master GB 3271 QSUB1) starts up well with the computer.

Sometimes, in operation, there is briefly a loss of signal (black screen) and it comes back.
Sometimes I have no problem for a long time.
But some day, it’s coming so often and prevent to work, because the black screen stay one/five seconds, and sometimes it happens several times in a row.

Computer, with :
• SOLUS 4,3 fortitude, updates done
• Asus Geforce GT 1030 LP 2 GB graphics card
• connected via hdmi
• Native Linux card driver
• Screen was 165 Hz and 2560x1440
• Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO

Connecting the screen to other computers with other systems works normally:

laptop with Win7
A tower computer with Win10 or Mint (older graphics card)
They all have Nvidia drivers
Linux
Mint has Nvidia-driver-390 (version 390.144-Oubuntu 0.20.04.1 – Metapackage)

So the problem is not the screen.
Actually I have install the nvidia Drivers with DoFlicky (instead of the linux "nouveau"), it’s ok, but the problem of « black screens » remains.

Could you try a different HDMI cable? In my experience the cable is often the issue - though if you used the same cable with those other machines and didn't have black screen issues, then we can eliminate that.

If it isn't the cable, you might try running a live boot of some other distro to see if the issue persists. If it does, then the issue is probably hardware.
