tomscharbach Can you manually override or spoof location, either in Firefox or in YouTube?
There are unpleasant options. I can log on to YouTube with my phone and use that to verify my location, but that's a pain in the @ss. My browser should take care of that without requiring manual intervention. I now forget the reason why Vivaldi can't provide it, even though that setting is set to "Allow" geolocation info. Some legal issue or other, and supposedly only temporary. I'll check their forum to see if there's been progress in that area.
I had forgotten that I can also use Chrome for that purpose, which is the other browser that provides location info. I prefer to have as little to do with Google as possible, but I guess that doesn't really matter much. The only site I'd use that browser for is tv.youtube.com, and I don't really care if Google knows what game shows my wife watches.
I guess the best solution is just to use Chrome for that one purpose, in which case I don't need Firefox anymore.
