Hi,

My understanding is that Materia is the recommended theme for Solus currently, but as I switch to Materia-compact, the bottom panel elements with text are grayish. You can see below how the keyboard indicator's color differs from Dropbox icon. How could this be fixed?

I also noticed the colors don't work in some programs. For example, Gnome Emails (Evolution) has important icons in its title bar but, with Materia, they aren't visible:

Yea, not a fan of that theme, especially after sleek black Plata-noir that I am still using:

noise617 To whom it may concern -- one simply needs to switch to the dark icon theme. In my case dark Papirus icons work just fine with Plata compact.

But Plata-noir works just fine for the Panel, Materia theme has some issues, right?

I just tested Papirus light/dark icons with Materia dark theme, nothing changes..

noise617 Hmm, that would make sense, I suppose. To be honest I thought Papirus-dark already was the default.

it was reccomended to me to do it (dark theme) dconf editor which kinds of trumps all settings anywhere else

My understanding is dark-themed icons are necessary for both Plata and Materia, all or almost all varieties.

This is appropriate look of icons in Gnome Emails (Evolution) title bar:
