MegaSync is working OK but stops when I'm asking for MegaSync status

Hi,

MegaSync works perfect on Solus :

I can modify parameters as speed, etc ...
I can upload / download automatically by adding folders & Files locally on Nautilus or on others PC

But there is an unexpected error when I'm asking for MegaSync's status : It stops... and I need to restart it manually

Do you have an idea How to see the Status of MegaSync on a safe way ?

try to run it in terminal, that way you are able to see what is the error when it fails

I start MegaSync : MegaSync runs OK

libcanberra is in repo you can install it and see (?).
hate to be 'that guy' but you really get what you get with flatpaks, appimages, etc. none are infallible and I've had appimages and flatpaks plain not work/function as intended.
type 'megasync' in search function. there are 2 success stories compiling from source, one from a guy named @johano who is is a member here.
I know this is all overkill for a megasync flatpak stutter when you simply check status but I don't know how to debug flatpak bugs....doesn't flatpak have a --debug in it's menu? (yeah I'm assuming it's a bug here)...

Lately, I've just being using the Debian package, and extracting the Megasync binary from the .deb package file. Works flawlessly so far.

Maybe worth a try.

Great but wondering :

Why don't they have an AppImage ?
It may be useful to add in to Solus Software Center ?
Can we use directly Arch AUR binary code ?
Can you share the binary code using MEGAsync ?

MEGASync proposes only for elementary OS 5 Juno which is not supported anymore ...
There is nothing proposed for elementary OS 6.1 Jólnir 😅

Confirmed : When we ask for elementary OS Juno we are downloading : megasync-xUbuntu_18.04_amd64.deb...
