Team member @algent undertook the herculean task of updating our whole Perl language stack. Those updates were part of yesterday's/today's sync (depending on your time zone).
While we now have much newer, better versions of all these packages, team member @TraceyC noticed that she had to re-install some Perl modules after the update. This should mostly affect modules installed through CPAN, but there seems to be a possibility that other modules might be affected too.
So if you use the Perl language, or Perl applications, especially if you installed modules from third-party sources, and notice some issues, the recommendation is to re-install those modules.
