Hi there.
I used a laptop as main PC for years, recently I built a desktop PC and simply moved my ssd from laptop (Intel/NVDIA) to desktop (Full AMD).
Everything works great safe for one issue with my headset microphone I don't know exactly how to describe. The device is recognized, and sound is captured, but if I record 10 seconds in audacity I get 1 second of output in the timeline. And it's not an audacity issue, my mic it's unusable with any software from browser to discord.
I downloaded the latest Solus Plasma iso from the website, checked the mic with a live usb and the microphone works as expected. Is it possible that the system keeps some configuration from the older system? How do I fix it?
Reinstalling the OS is my last resort, but I though to try a shot in the forum. So far I tried changing the sampling rate in /usr/share/pulseaudio/daemon.conf
but I haven't had good results.
