I am going to get a SSD soon and i like to know how the experience of Solus in SSD is. And should i follow any steps to have a smooth installation? I saw the FAQ topic and saw about AHCI. Other than that anything should be taken care?

Jason5 Honestly you don't need to do anything different, boot up Solus, allow the installer to do its thing.
Thanks, i thought SSD needs some additional steps.

afaik all you need to do with a ssd or nvme is check that fstrim is enabled and lucky for us Solus has that enabled default: sudo systemctl status fstrim.timer
I changed out the HDD in my laptop and went to SSD. Type in my password and I and up and running in under 2 seconds.

Got my SSD and the booting speed is fast. Love the new experience.
